This is the entrance to the Madrid Historical Museum, formally known as the Museo Municipal. It was originally built in 1673 as the Real Hospice Ave Maria and San Fernando. Generally the building is very striking, but this entrance is what really caught my eye! You just don’t see architecture and detail like this in Canada!!
