This photo represents 1/4 of the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, home of Real Madrid. It is hard to depict the try scale of the stadium, but if interested, you can read more about it here.

While in Madrid this past summer, we took a stadium tour of the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, home to Real Madrid. It is the most grand and beautiful stadium that I have ever set foot into! The trophy room contains the football boots of all the current Real Madrid players, two of which are pictured here.

My parents went to visit my brother in Ecuador over Christmas and brought us back this hand carved gourd. It is approximately 6 inches tall. The work is so intricate that every time that I look at it, I see something new! This photo only represents 1/4 of the work.

The symbol of England, the Three Lions. This is one set of gates that lead to Buckingham Palace. It was a madhouse, I was surprised that I was able to get a clear shot of anything!

A little piece of information that I received while in London is that Big Ben is actually the name of the housed in this tower. From that point on I referred to it as “Big Ben’s House”!

We were in London just after the 2012 Summer Olympics and during the Paralympics. The bridges along the Thames River were lit up and I was able to finally grab a non-blurred picture. Note to self, next time we travel abroad, bring the tripod!!

While walking around London one evening, we stumble upon this area. I have no idea exactly where or what it is, but it definitely caught my eye!

Here is a picture of the Temple of Debod in Madrid, you can read more about it here!
