The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 2,200 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 4 years to get that many views.

While touring around in Barcelona Madrid this past summer, we came across a ruin that was given to the city as a gift. This is the access way up to the ruin.

For the life of me I can’t remember the name of it, so I apologise!
Thanks Jessica for letting me know it was the Egyptian Temple of Debod in Madrid! Too many pictures from a whirlwind 2 week trip to Europe! 🙂

While walking through Central Park, we came upon this, for lack of a better word, structure (AKA, I don’t know what its called). I knew when I took this picture that it was going to end up in B&W… So here it is!

B&W NYC Skyline

During a recent trip to New York, we went to the top of Rockefeller Centre. Visibility was described as a 3 out of 5 but it was a nice sunny day, so we decided to go up anyways. It was a little hazy out but I think that it added some texture to the view.

This shot was achieved by layering a 3 shot exposure bracket in HDR processing software and some adjustment in Lightroom.
