These photos were taken during a trip from Calgary, Alberta to Kelowna, British Columbia in August 2011. In the matter of a three day trip, 12-14 hours of driving, I racked up over 840 images on my fathers’ Canon XSi. Enjoy the photos!

I really like the texture that is visible in her face. This is by far the best picture of her that we have to date. She doesn’t just look like a fluffy black ball of fur!
I am looking into investing into a new telephoto zoom lens for my Canon T3i, and have been looking at the EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM by Canon.
Does anyone have any suggestions to a versatile outdoor shooting lens in the $600 price range?

This was IMG_0001, our little Moxie!
We were out for a walk last weekend, it was finally a nice sunny day and I brought the camera with us. I had been looking something to try my first HDR shot, and here it is!
